Description

Three storey terrace of six 2-window Italianate stucco houses, now in commercial use. Bracketed cornice and parapet. Second floors have 2 camber-headed windows with stucco hoods (hoods lost at No 60) and 4-pane sash glazing (lost at No 60). On first floors, tall sash windows under bracketed cornices, and balconies with convex iron frontals (sash glazing lost at No 60). On ground floors, doorways with round-arched overlights flanked by windows with Venetian-derived cornices, but simplified glazing (at No 60, ground floor re-arranged with central doorway flanked by windows, all under classically derived fascia) No 62 is slightly advanced, and has to L, 2-storey splayed bay window. To R. open porch with quatrefoil banding to parapet, and columns with annulets and foliage capitals.
