Description
2 Woodland Place is part of a terrace of two-storey houses built in a simple Italianate style. The houses feature scribed stucco walls, which have been partly renewed, a slate roof, and brick stacks. The terrace includes a plat band, a simple banded cornice, and corbelled eaves.
On the lower storey, there are panelled doors with overlights and tripartite 4-pane sash windows, all situated beneath moulded cornices supported by consoles, although the consoles are missing on No 2. No 5 has a replaced door and a 2-pane sash window. The upper storey contains 4-pane sash windows set in keyed architraves, with a replaced window on No 5 and missing architraves on No 2.
At the right end of the row, No 5 has an added projection. This terrace, consisting of five houses, is a cohesive architectural group.
