Description
1 Woodland Place is part of a terrace of two-storey houses built in a simple Italianate style. The houses feature scribed stucco walls, which have been partly renewed, a slate roof, and brick stacks. The terrace includes a plat band, a simple banded cornice, and corbelled eaves.
On the lower storey, there are panelled doors with overlights and tripartite four-pane sash windows, all situated beneath moulded cornices supported by consoles (note that the consoles are missing from No 2, and No 5 has a replaced door and a two-pane sash window). The upper storey features four-pane sash windows set in keyed architraves, with a replaced window at No 5 and missing architraves at No 2.
At the right end of the row, No 5 has an added projection. This terrace is part of a group of five houses, numbered 1 to 5 Woodland Place.
