Description
9 Woodland Place is part of a short terrace of two-storey houses built in a simple Italianate style. The buildings feature scribed stucco walls, which have been partly replaced, and a slate roof with projecting boarded eaves and brick stacks. The terrace includes a plat band and a simple banded cornice.
On the lower storey, the openings have moulded cornices supported by consoles. These consist of panelled doors with simple overlights, a tripartite sash window at No 9, and a similar opening at No 10 that has a replaced window. No 8 features a canted bay window with a camber-headed four-pane sash window and a castellated parapet. The upper storey is adorned with four-pane sash windows set within keyed architraves.
This terrace belongs to a group of three houses at 8-10 Woodland Place.
