Description
This is a terrace of two-storey, two-window houses built in a simple Italianate style. The houses, numbered 1-5 Woodland Place, are constructed with stucco walls, some of which have been renewed. They have slate roofs and brick stacks. A plat band runs around the terrace, complemented by a simple banded cornice and corbelled eaves. The lower floor features panelled doors with overlights, and tripartite four-pane sash windows, all topped by moulded cornices resting on consoles. However, the consoles are missing from the front of No. 2, and a door and a two-pane sash window have been replaced at No. 5. The upper floor has four-pane sash windows set within keyed architraves; a window has been replaced at No. 5, and the architraves are missing from No. 2. A projection has been added, set back, to the right-hand end of the terrace, at No. 5. The terrace forms a group with numbers 1-5 Woodland Place.
