Description
Etcetera and Threshers is a three-storey building with an asymmetrical front elevation featuring three bays and roughcast cladding. The slate roof has a red brick stack positioned to the left of the centre and a stone stack at the left end. On the ground floor, from the left, there is a door leading to a passage, a small shop window dating from the late 19th century to early 20th century, and a wide shop front with a central door. The upper floors have widely spaced windows in the east bay. The second floor features square 12-pane sash windows, while the first floor has two large 12-pane sash windows and a much smaller 8-pane sash window to the right. The rear wing is two storeys high and includes an arched doorway, along with windows that have square openings framed with stone chamfers.
Inside, the ground floor of the right-hand shop has altered ceiling beams, while the upper floors were not inspected. The ground floor of the left-hand shop features a ceiling beam with a deep chamfer and stop, a fireplace with a wooden bressumer that has a diagonal stop, and below it, a stone corbelled surround with a stop and chamfered jamb.
