Description
Ogmore Vale Bakery is a three-storey building with a two-bay front elevation. It features pebbledash cladding with stuccoed dressings and a slate roof. The ground floor has a shop front designed in an early 19th-century style, which has been repaired or possibly re-fashioned in the early 20th century. It includes two small paned bow windows that curve inward to a central recessed doorway, all within a common frame that has reeded pilasters with roundels in the capitals and a fascia with a cornice. To the right, there is a round-headed doorway with a fanlight that has tracery, leading to a modern eight-panelled door. The upper floors are fitted with twelve-pane sash windows, with smaller windows on the top floor. Externally, there are stone blocks visible for the second-floor building extension at the southeast gable end.
