Stable Court E Range at Ewenny Priory (house)

The Stable Court E Range at Ewenny Priory is a symmetrical single-storey rectangular building featuring five round-arched carriage bays of equal height. Constructed of rubble with ashlar dressings, it has a hipped Welsh slate roof, although the rear has been replaced with metal sheeting. The central bay rises to a low turret with an oculus and a pyramidal roof, and the eaves are level with the ridge of the main building. Originally, there was a louvred ventilator finial with a pyramidal cap. The arches have narrow imposts, and while one door is boarded, the others have been replaced with metal garage doors, although the boarded tympanums remain. The side elevation features brick dressings around cambered arched multipane metal frame windows and a doorway with a boarded door.

Inside, the building has lime plastered walls and floors made of flags, cobbles, and stone setts.
