Description

The cross in the churchyard of the Church of St. Senwyr is made of squared local limestone rubble with a limestone ashlar cross. It stands on three diminishing steps and features a base with a diminishing chamfered shaft, all carved from a single stone. The base has a plaque with incised lettering that reads, "The bases of this churchyard cross were restored and a new shaft added in 1937 in memory of Herbert Sarsfield Watson of Llansannor Court," all in capital letters. Below this, there is another plaque in memory of his wife and children.
