Description
This is a former cartshed and granary, dating from the 19th century. It is constructed of local limestone rubble with a Welsh slate roof. The building is two storeys high. On the front elevation, there are five segmental arched openings at ground floor level, originally for carts, now glazed as three-light windows with narrow hardwood mullions. The central window incorporates the front door. Above the first and third arches are loft doors, also now glazed windows, while two smaller, square openings, also glazed, are located above the right-hand arches. A buttressed gable end features a first-floor window. The rear elevation is plain and lacks openings. The original 19th-century kingpost roof, supported by diagonal struts, remains, although the interior was modernised around the year 2000.
