Description

The building is a slipway constructed from pressed red brick, featuring gable coping, kneelers, and pinnacles, with a corrugated roof covering. The seaward (west) end includes large sliding boat doors, and above these is a camber-headed window. On the north side, there is a roughly central camber-headed doorway, one camber-headed window to the left, two to the right, and a small window at eaves level on the right. The south side is similar but has only two windows. The rear of the building has a lower gabled extension with a camber-headed window. The slipway itself consists of steel girders supported by groups of four iron columns, which are connected with horizontal and diagonal cross ties.
