Description
Late 18th to early 19th century with later alterations. 2-storey and attic, 2-bay rectangular-plan symmetrical gable-ended house (subdivided internally) with stone flight to E gable, built on ground falling to E. Harl-pointed roughly coursed rubble; cement cills at 1st floor.
W (DUNDAS STREET) ELEVATION: modern timber door with letterbox fanlight at ground to centre. Former shop windows at ground in each flanking bay; single winodws above; attic window to gable in each bay above; gablehead stack.
S (SIDE) ELEVATION: irregularly fenestrated, 4-bay. Part-glazed timber panelled door with rectangular fanlight in bay to right of centre; window at 1st floor above. Window at ground in bay to left. Window at 1st floor in bay to outer left. Small window at ground in bay to right.
E (SEAWARD) ELEVATION: single bay gabled wall. Window at each floor (including attic) offset to right; gablehead stack above.
Modern uPVC windows; timber-framed former shop windows at ground to W. Grey slate roof; stone ridge; rooflights to S pitch; concrete skews; cavetto-moulded skewputts; coped rubble gablehead stacks to E and W; predominantly uPVC rainwater goods.
BOUNDARY WALL AND SLIPWAY: low coped rubble wall with terminating square-plan pier to W, along S elevation; steps to rubble walled garden, formerly quay to E with concrete (broken) slipway to S flank.
