Description

The Lifeboat House is a Grade II listed building constructed from pressed red brick, featuring gable coping, kneelers, and pinnacles, with a corrugated roof covering. The west end facing the sea has large sliding boat doors, with a camber-headed window positioned above. On the north side, there is a roughly central camber-headed doorway, one camber-headed window to the left, two to the right, and a small window at eaves level on the right. The south side is similar but has only two windows. The rear of the building includes a lower gabled extension with a camber-headed window. Additionally, there is a slipway made of steel girders, supported by groups of four iron columns with horizontal and diagonal cross ties.
