Description
The Cenotaph is constructed of white flecked granite. It features a tall rectangular base raised on two steps and a plinth, with a stepped upper stage that supports a bronze sculpture of two infantrymen. One soldier is depicted advancing with a bayonet fixed, stepping over his fallen comrade. The base is inscribed with the words "AT GOF UWCH ANGOF." Additionally, a bronze leaf motif is applied to all sides of the plinth.
