Description
Colonel North Memorial Hall is a building constructed of rock-faced stone with red brick dressings and a slate roof. It has two storeys and an attic, featuring a narrow front with three bays that returns as four bays. The facade includes end brick panelled pilasters and moulded terracotta strings. The central bay is set forward and gabled, showcasing a large trefoil in the gable. There are two windows on each floor, with the attic windows being shorter, and similar windows are present in the side bays. A central inset panel displays the text "COLONEL NORTH / MEMORIAL HALL / 1897," and a red sandstone date stone is located on the lower left side. The side elevation features single and paired lights, along with two raised and gabled dormer windows at the attic level. The entrance has a pedimented door with moulded terracotta foliage in the tympanum.
