Description
The churchyard wall and gate at St Teilo in Merthyr Mawr is a dwarf wall made of snecked stone with ramped coping. The wall consists of four straight sections and a short return at the western end. Above the coping, there are iron posts topped with fleur-de-lys finials, which are threaded with wire fencing. The gate is located at the eastern end and is constructed from cast and wrought iron. It features scrolled dog bars beneath raked bars that have scrollwork below the top rail. On the right and left sides of the gate, there are scrolled finials.
