Description

The garden gateway at Ty-maen is made of limestone and features a Tudor-arched head with triangular spandrels. This arch is set within an ogee moulding and has an ogee and double bead moulded label with dropped ends above it. The southern jamb has been replaced or repaired with cement rendering, while the northern jamb is fragmentary. Small shields are placed over the spandrels, with one of them dated 1658.
