Description
Scotch Fald is a structure consisting of two concentric circular walls made of drystone rubble. The inner wall stands between 2 and 2.5 meters high and features two entrances that are directly opposite each other. The outer wall, which is 1 to 1.2 meters high, has an entrance on the northeast side that does not align with the openings of the inner wall. This outer wall is partly breached and has additional rubble stone walls attached, creating three sides of a rectangular enclosure that is open to the south, with the circular fald located at the northwest corner. The outer walls also retain some flat copings.
