Description

This is a bridge located over the River Clydach, south of Neath Abbey. It features a single arch made of cut stone voussoirs and has a rubble stone parapet. The remaining part of the bridge is faced with squared blocks of ironworks slag, some of which have relief markings of IIV and VI. It is noted that a quarter of the facing on the northeast quadrant has fallen into the canal.
