Description
The former brewhouse and stable at Ynys Corrwg Farm is a Grade II listed building constructed from rubble stone, which is painted white except for the south gable end. It features a slate roof and a brick stack at the left (north) end. On the yard-facing side, there is a boarded door on the right and a 2-light casement window in the center, both with shallow segmental stone heads and drip stones. To the left, there are three brick segmental heads; the leftmost remains a window, while the other two have been cut down to create a wide doorway. The south gable end includes a ventilation strip beneath a line of nesting boxes. The rear wall, where the ground is higher, has a loft door below the wall plate with double boarded doors. The north gable end, which faces the house, features a doorway on the right with a segmental stone head.
The roof consists of seven bays and has collar beams supporting the trusses. An inserted brick cross wall divides the lower storey into two main sections, with the north end having a flagged floor and an inserted 19th-century cast iron range along with a wooden chimney piece.
