Description
Nantewlath is a one-and-a-half-storey house with rubble-stone walls that have been rendered and painted white. It features a slate roof with a stone stack on the right side. The windows and doors have all been replaced but are set in earlier openings. The doorway is located on the left side beneath a lean-to porch and is flanked by windows, with the left window having a cambered head. Above the doorway, there are half dormers on both the left and right sides, and a small window is positioned below the eaves, offset to the left.
Attached to the right gable end is an added kitchen lean-to, which has a single door and window on its left side, along with a single window in the side wall. The ground rises behind the house, where there is a single upper-storey window.
To the left of the house is a lower rubble-stone stable and barn, which is missing its original roof. A buttress has been built over the joint between the house and the barn. On the right side of the barn, there is a full-height doorway, and to the left, the wall is partly battered. The gable end of the barn has a single boarded-up window and a triangular breather below the apex. The ground behind is higher, and there is a doorway in a pent-roofed projection that provides access to the loft.
The original plan of the house has been retained, although the original winding stair is now blocked, and a new stair has been constructed within the hall. The hall features beams with stepped stops.
