Description

Henallt House is a symmetrical, two-storey and attic, three-window building dating from the 18th century. It is constructed of coursed rubble with a steep slate roof, wide eaves supported by modillion brackets, and rubble chimney stacks at each end. The roof also features slate-hung dormers with casement windows. The front elevation has small-pane sash windows, each with a voussoir and keystone, with the central windows being narrower and positioned above an ogee hooded porch with glazed sides. The front door is a four-panelled, part-glazed design, with panelled reveals. The rear elevation is also of rubble, with mainly sash windows and a later, broader dormer. This building has group value from contributions to the character of the surrounding area.
