Description
Trergelli is a symmetrical, two-storey, five-window house built of coursed rubble, with a basement to one side. The house likely dates to the 18th century. The slate roof has wide, boarded eaves and brick chimney stacks positioned centrally on both properties. The windows are 12-pane sashes with decorative voussoirs above, and there’s a blind window in the centre of the front facade. A raised, twin central doorcase features pilasters and panelled reveals, with six-pane doors and overlights. Steps lead down to a boarded basement entrance on the right, featuring a drip board. There are casement windows in the gable ends, with the right side colour-washed. The rear elevation is almost symmetrical, with wide eaves and slightly set back outer bays. Various windows are present, including small-pane sashes and staircase windows, with French windows on the right rear over the basement. Original iron railings remain in front of the property, enhancing its group value.
