Description

L shaped range forming 2 sides of the farmyard, the barn parallel to the road and the byre range at right angles with passage between the two. Of stone rubble with part Welsh slate part corrugated roof. Barn has high ventilation slits to right of replaced double opposing doors; steps left to granary under a porch; 2 loft openings. Byre doorways facing the yard have timber lintels; rear has a deep buttress. Cartshed bays to rear of granary.

Barn has pegged tie beam trusses and 3 rows of trenched purlins. Byre has feed passage to rear and loft above with pegged collar trusses and similar purlins.
