Description
The Old Vicarage is a 19th-century building constructed of stone pebble-dashed with a machine tile roof on the main house and stone tiles on the recessed lower service wing to the right. It features rendered end stacks. The main facade is symmetrical, showcasing a three-window arrangement of 6/6 pane sash windows on the first floor, similar to those on the ground floor, which includes a central doorway with a renewed panelled front door and hood. There is also an additional 8/8 pane sash window on the side and a single window range of 3/3 pane casements on the service wing.
Inside, the original layout is preserved, featuring a central staircase with turned balusters and central cross beams in the main rooms. The interior includes panelled doors, shutters, and moulded surrounds. The fireplace in the room to the left has a bracketed surround, while the open fireplace in the room to the right has been remodelled. The building also has three A-frame roof trusses.
