Description

Spiteful Inn Bridge, also known as Canal Bridge No 124, is a single-span hump-backed bridge constructed of rubble sandstone. It features a segmental arch made up of thin voussoirs and keystones. The bridge has continuous parapets that are splayed, with the ends heavily covered in vegetation. The copings consist mainly of upright stones. On the eastern side, which is downstream, there is a cast iron plaque displaying the bridge number in relief. Additionally, a low retaining wall is located at the northwest end pier of the bridge and includes a stile.
