Description
Nos. 2 and 3 Wheat Street are three-storey buildings with a rendered front facing Wheat Street. They feature a slate roof and flanking stacks. The buildings have four windows, with sash windows set in plain reveals. The second and first floors have four-pane windows, while the top floor has 12-pane windows and the other floors have 16-pane windows. The doorways are adorned with pilasters and entablatures; No. 2 has plain pilasters, panelled reveals, and a four-panelled door, while No. 3 features fluted pilasters, shallow reveals, and a six-panelled door with the top two panels glazed. The right return of No. 2 includes a small sash window in the attic and a 16-pane sash window on the other three floors.
