Description
Gwernvale Cottage is a 2-storey building featuring a 3-window front made of scribed stucco with rusticated quoins. It has slate roofs, wide bracket eaves, and rendered end chimney stacks. The cottage includes recessed 12-pane sash windows and a bay window with sash glazing on the ground floor to the left. The central entrance has an open pedimented doorcase with an advanced cornice and pilasters, along with a 5-pane fanlight and modern doors. The left end wall is rendered and has ornamental bargeboards on the asymmetrical gable. The right end wall is similar and includes a remodelled range at the rear, sash windows, and a 2-storey splayed bay with a dentilled cornice.
