Description
Pen-y-Dre Cottage is a two-storey building that features a three-window dry-dash front, with later 19th-century alterations. It has a slate roof, wide bracket eaves, and cement render end chimney stacks. On both the left and right sides, there are later 19th-century two-storey splayed bays that contain sash windows without glazing bars. The central section has a French window framed by classical panelled pilasters and a swept-out cornice, which leads to a balcony above an open porch. The porch is supported by cast-iron pillars and has lattice work on the sides. The central entrance includes a four-panel door topped by a two-pane fanlight.
