Description

The White Hart Inn is a 2-storey public house with a roughcast front featuring five windows. It has slate roofs with stepped eaves and ridges, and four roughcast chimney stacks. There is a lean-to structure at the right end. The windows are mainly casement and horned sash types, with one small-pane window on the left and cambered heads above the ground floor openings. The main entrance has a pitched hood with ornamental bargeboards above a four-panel door, and there are three additional entrances on the front. A notable feature is the original toll sign dated 1587, which is located on the front wall. Inside, the inn retains stone flagged floors.
