Description
The granary at Pencelli Court is a stone building topped with a Welsh slate roof. It consists of two bays, with the main entrance located in the gable end and a cross wing to the left. To the right, there is a wide lean-to, and at the rear, an attached single-storey shed features a pantiled roof. Stone steps lead up to a doorway on the first floor, which is extended by a metal platform across the front, allowing access to the second bay as well. The ground floor has a cambered arched doorway. At the rear, the granary includes two open bays, with the first floor supported by a heavy metal pier and a casement window above. The store shed extends towards the canal in three bays, with its roof supported by slender piers. The lean-to on the side has a doorway and a hopper window.
