Description
Glanyscir is a villa dating from 1830, featuring whitewashed rough render and a deep-eaved slate roof with rendered end stacks. The building stands two storeys tall, with flat eaves positioned high above the first-floor windows. A plaque above the central window indicates its construction date. The windows are hornless sashes, with 12 panes above and 16 panes below, while the central arched doorway includes a 6-panel door and a fanlight. A flat-topped corniced porch supported by two thin iron columns, which were renewed in the 20th century, enhances the entrance. On the left end of the villa, there is a large 12-pane loft window. At the rear, a lean-to structure features a corner chimney.
The front garden is enclosed by railings adorned with cast-iron fleur-de-lys finials and urn standards, set on a low rubble wall with stone coping. Wrought iron gates are positioned between the house and the ends of each side railing. The interior has not been inspected.
