Description

Llan Wysg Cottage is a two-storey house featuring three windows and an advanced central bay topped with a gable. The building is constructed from snecked grey stone with quoins and has a slate roof supported by two masonry end stacks. It has wide boarded eaves and the central bay is adorned with ornate openwork barge boards. The entrance is centrally located and has a replaced door, flanked by hornless sash windows that may have had their glazing bars removed, all set on stone sills and lintels. On the upper storey, there are three identical windows, with the central one featuring a hoodmould and a blind slit in the gable above. The northern gable end showcases decorative barge boards and has no openings, while the southern gable end is not visible. At the rear, there is a small lean-to. Access to the interior was not available during the inspection in August 1997.
