Description

Pont Llangattock, also known as Ffawyddog Bridge, is a single-span hump-backed bridge constructed of rubble sandstone. It features a segmental arch made of voussoirs and has continuous parapets. On the south side, which is downstream, there is a cast iron plaque displaying the bridge number in relief. The parapets are splayed and include end piers. The deck slopes sharply down towards the east, and a retaining wall curves around to the south from the southeast end pier. The copings consist mainly of upright stones, with some flat stone replacements.
