Description

Nos. 1-6 The Watton form a group of six two-storey houses. They date from the 18th century and have slate roofs, with one section hipped at the right end. Brick chimney stacks rise above pebbledashed walls, some of which are painted, and a plinth runs along the base. Number 3 has two small, arched attic dormers with hopper windows containing small panes of glass. The first floor has two 12-pane sash windows, and a similar window is located on the right side of the ground floor. The left-hand doorway is set within a round-arched doorcase topped with a triangular pediment. Above the door is an overlight window with radial glazing, and a six-panelled door.
