Description

Nos. 1-6 The Watton form a group of six two-storey houses. They date from the 18th century. Each house has a two-window front, slate roofs, and brick stacks. The external walls are pebbledashed, with some areas painted, and have a plinth. Number 6 has eaves supported by brackets. The first floor features two four-pane sash windows set within raised architraves. On the ground floor, the left-hand side has a tripartite sash window in a raised architrave. The right-hand side features a doorway with a cornice supported by elaborate brackets, a rectangular overlight, and a four-panelled door. This is a building of group value, contributing to the character of the area.
