Description

The Garden House at Llanvihangel Court is a Grade II* listed building. It features a stone rubble base approximately 1 meter high, with red brick above laid in Flemish bond. The building has an eight-sided roof with overhanging eaves covered in stone tiles, culminating in a wooden finial topped with a ball. The circular drum of the structure is supported by three raking stone buttresses, which appear to be unnecessary as they are separating from the building. The entrance includes a plain doorway with a 4 + 4 casement window above it. At the rear, there is an unglazed window with four vertical openings, as well as a slit window in the brickwork.

Inside, the space is simple, featuring a brick bench beneath the slit window. The room above has a wooden floor with a trapdoor, and the roof structure consists of a cross frame with a central post.
