Description

The tomb of Thomas Prosser, located in St Michael's Churchyard, is an ashlar Gothic style chest tomb. It features panelled corner pilasters with cusping in the heads, a plinth, and recessed panels on the ends and sides. The tomb has a sloping cap with a central ridge and moulded edges. An inscription commemorates Thomas Prosser, who died in 1852. The original wrought iron railings are intact, complete with spear head railings and vases on the main stanchions.
