Description
This is a cast iron finger post located at Pen-y-bont Bridge. It features a cylindrical base and a fluted shaft, which is painted in alternating black and white bands. At the top, there is a pyramidal finial. The finger post has three moveable arms, each with a pointing finger indicating distances to LONGTOWN (6 miles), ABERGAVENNY (4.5 miles), and LLANTHONY (6 miles).
