Description

This is a boundary marker stone located between the parishes of Talgarth and Llangors. It is made of fissile sandstone and stands approximately 60 cm high with a rounded top. The stone is inscribed with "Mrs /[Macnamara] / 1821," although the inscription is scaling. Originally, there were two boundary stones on routes from Cwmdu before the Act of Consolidation of 1830, which unified the county turnpikes into one trust.
