Description
Nantybargod is a late 19th-century house constructed from coursed rubble, featuring cambered yellow brick heads above its openings. The roof is pitched and covered with slate, and it has yellow brick stacks at both ends. The facade includes a painted, boarded timber door located at the center of the ground floor, which is framed by stone reveals and topped with a 2-pane overlight. On either side of the door, there are flanking windows that are 12-pane timber sashes, also with stone reveals and slate sills. The upper floor has smaller 12-pane sashes that match those below. The roof is finished with plain ridge tiles, undecorated timber bargeboards on the gables, and features a cast iron gutter and downpipe. Projecting stones at the left end suggest a plan to extend the house or to build a second one.
