Description

No 1 Thomas Court is a paired cottage built from whitewashed rubble stone and topped with a slate close-eaved roof. The two-storey structure features a facade that is divided into two planes at the rear of No 95 Lammas Street. The left bay has a small 2-pane sash window on the ground floor. The right side, which is set at an obtuse angle, includes two 4-pane sash windows under the eaves on the upper floor, a 4-pane sash window on the ground floor, and a doorway to the extreme right. This doorway has a 20th-century half-glazed door positioned against the party wall of No 2. All openings are framed with a plain rendered surround, and there is a rendered plinth at the base.
