Description
Ffos-y-maen is a 2-storey, 3-window farmhouse built from limewashed rubble stone and topped with a slate roof. It features a 19th-century brick stack on the right and a replaced brick stack on the left. The openings are offset to the right and are not evenly spaced, with segmental heads in the lower storey. The central doorway has a replaced door, while the upper storey contains late 19th-century 4-pane horned sash windows in enlarged openings with sills, positioned beneath the eaves. Attached to the left gable end is a rubble-stone byre with a slate roof, which includes three doorways with boarded doors under wooden lintels, along with a fourth doorway in a blockwork extension at the left end. The building has not been inspected.
