Description
Knightsford Farm is a farmhouse that features white-painted roughcast or render, topped with a close-eaved slate hipped roof and rendered end stacks. The building is two-storeys high and has a front with four windows, which includes small 4-pane sash windows on the upper floor and 20th-century French windows on the lower floor, except for a 4-pane sash window in the second bay. The right end wall is rendered. At the rear, there is a hipped stair tower on the left that has a small-paned Gothic stair light. There are outshuts on each side, with a small section on the left that has one ground floor casement window. To the right, there is a two-storey range that features renewed 12-pane horned sashes, with two square sashes on the upper floor to the left and right, and two more on the ground floor to the right and centre, along with a door to the left. A 20th-century link connects to a single-storey cottage range, which may be the original house on the site, and includes a 20th-century small ridge stack. The cottage has two double-fronted sections with 20th-century casements on each side of the doors, with the stack located between the two sections.
