Description
Yet Farmhouse is an earlier 19th century farmhouse that was remodelled in the late 19th century. It is constructed of grey coursed stone with a slate roof and stone end stacks. The building features a two-storey front with three windows, bracketed eaves, four-pane horned sash windows, and a 20th-century half-glazed centre door. The windows have cambered heads with stone voussoirs and slate sills.
The northeast rear wing includes a large stone stack, while the southeast rear has an outshut. The north front of the wing retains original hornless 12-pane sash windows on each floor, also with cambered heads, stone voussoirs, and keystones.
The eaves detail and front windows indicate later 19th-century alterations, but the sashes on the north wing and the large east end stack are from an earlier period. An inscription found during alterations notes extensions made in 1835. The farmhouse was occupied by the Evans family of Cenarth Mill during the 19th century.
