Description

Maesdulais Lime Kilns are a pair of exceptionally tall lime kilns made from snecked rubble, positioned against a high bank. They feature raking buttresses at the front and right side, with a central buttress that includes a date panel. The draw arches are segmental and tunnel-vaulted, constructed with freestone voussoirs. The areas around the draw holes are made of brick. Although brick shafts are visible from the top, they are mostly infilled.
