Description

The entrance gates and gatepiers at Glaspant Lodge date from the early 19th century. They feature two square piers made of slate blocks that are rusticated and have moulded plinths. The piers also have a fluted frieze with horizontal flutings at the corners and shallow slate pyramid caps topped with ball finials. The paired wrought iron gates include dog-bars, scrolled spearhead finials, and top-rails that ramp down to the center.
