Description

Pont Cych is a road bridge constructed of rubble stone, featuring a single arch. The bridge has flush stone voussoirs and a rough string course beneath its humped parapets. The parapets are topped with end-on stone coping and flat slates at each end. The abutments are positioned at right angles. A plaque on the south side of the bridge states, "This bridge rebuilt by both counties Is Harries, H. Howells Overseers MDCCXXXVII."
