Description
Llainrhydwen is a farmhouse built in the late 18th century or early 19th century. It has a roughcast exterior with an imitation slate roof and rebuilt stone end stacks, which are larger on the left side. The building is two storeys high and features a three-window range of later 19th century or 20th century four-pane sash windows, along with a central 20th century door. There is a painted timber modillion eaves cornice along the roofline. To the left, there is a single-storey service range made of rubble stone. The rear of the farmhouse has an outshut with a 20th century addition on the first floor, and there is a 20th century garage attached to the right end wall.
Inside, there is a large main fireplace with a timber lintel, along with oak joists and roof trusses.
