Description

Rose Cottage is a house that features colourwashed roughcast walls and a close-eaved slate roof, with colourwashed rendered end stacks, the larger stack located on the left. The building is two storeys high and has a three-window range of large 6-pane sashes, with the outer panes being narrow. The centre of the facade has a panelled door set within a roughcast gabled porch. There is also a loft light in the right end wall, and the rear wall is made of rubble stone and is colourwashed.

Inside, the house is said to have oak stairs and a drawing room alcove designed in the Regency style.
